Recording and Production
Please contact me mynetaur@mac.com; prices for recording and production work are calculated per project.
Mixing
Please ensure you record in 24 bit or higher. I accept Pro Tools sessions or consolidated files with a zero start point (preferably with unwanted tracks hidden/made inactive or removed). Send them over in whatever source format you’ve been using, but please don’t convert the sample rate or bit depth.
No matter how bad it sounds, please include a rough mix so I know that the files are in sync and that nothing’s missing.
Please note that significant edits that required prior to mixing need to be highlighted when you contact me. I can carry out this work, but this is not included in any standard mixing quote. Likewise, if you have recorded guitars and/or bass DI signals, I am happy to re-amp them.

Mastering
Mastering per stereo track: £45
Stem Mastering per track: £55
· Please make sure that the files delivered for mastering are free of any master limiters that should not be a part of your mix.
· Whilst avoiding clipping, please try to retain a minimum of -3dBFS to -6dBFS peaking headroom with your mixes.
· If you have any specific instructions or preferences prior to mastering, please let me know. It’s a good practice to upload a document along with the files including t track list, final song titles for CD Text and ISRC codes (if relevant).
· If you deliver instrument group mixdowns (for stem mastering), please verifythat the sum of all stems (without any mix bus compression you may have) played back at unity gain (“0” on the fader) exactly replicates the required stereo mix (which should also be sent), and that the stems are bounced with the same starting point.
· WAV or AIFF-files are fine, but please deliver in the source sample rate, do not carry out any conversion. The mixes should have a minimum depth of 24-bit.
As a way of identifying problems, I can check your mixes, and provide feedback prior to mastering; one or two tracks off an album is usually enough.
